Hallo, mein Name ist Alessio Laterza und ich möchte hier meine Erfahrungen als ESK-Freiwilliger im Kompetenzzentrum für Internationale Jugendarbeit und non-formale Bildung in Leipzig teilen. Ich kam im April an und kann ehrlich sagen, dass meine bisherige Zeit hier unglaublich inspirierend, lehrreich und persönlich bereichernd war.
Die natürliche Schönheit Deutschlands im Frühling ist erstaunlich, und meine Ankunft fiel genau in diese wunderbare Jahreszeit. Das Leben in Leipzig war insgesamt eine fantastische Erfahrung. Es ist eine Stadt voller künstlerischer Energie und wachsender Kreativität, die ständig neue Inspiration bietet.
Die Sommermonate waren besonders aufregend. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, als Leiter von zwei Jugendaustauschen zu arbeiten: einer fand in Leipzig statt, und der andere in Rimini, Italien. Diese Erfahrungen haben mir die Möglichkeit gegeben, echte praktische Erfahrungen im Bereich der Jugendarbeit zu sammeln und wertvolle Einblicke in die Herausforderungen in der Organisation von internationalen Projekte.
Die kreativen musikalischen Einflüsse von Leipzig haben mich auch musikalisch inspiriert und zusammen mit einer Gruppe anderer angehender Musiker haben wir beschlossen, ein kleines Musikprojekt zu entwickeln, bei dem ich die Gitarre spiele. Auf der Liste standen auch kleine Konzerte, die wir geplant haben.
Im November haben wir das 10-jährige Jubiläum unserer Organisation gefeiert, ein bedeutender Meilenstein für uns alle. Während dieser Feier hatte ich die Gelegenheit, einen Workshop zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit zu moderieren, der als interaktives Escape-Game gestaltet war. Tatsächlich habe ich mich während meiner Zeit hier besonders auf die Entwicklung von Methodologien konzentriert, insbesondere im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit und Klimagerechtigkeit.
Wenn ich auf meine bisherige Erfahrung zurückblicke, bin ich wirklich beeindruckt von allem, was ich erlebt habe, und den vielfältigen Erfahrungen, die ich auf meinem Weg gesammelt habe. In Bezug auf Wissen habe ich viele neue Fähigkeiten erworben und verschiedene Methodologien ausprobiert, wobei ich das Gefühl habe, sowohl persönlich als auch beruflich gewachsen zu sein.
European solidarity Corps – Alessio´s testimonial
Hi, my name is Alessio Laterza, and I would like to share my experience as an ESC volunteer here in Leipzig at the Competence Centre for International Youth Work. I arrived in April, and I can honestly say that my time here so far has been incredibly inspiring, educational and personally enriching.
The natural beauty of Germany during the Spring is stunning, and my arrival coincided with this wonderful season. Living in Leipzig has been overall a fantastic experience. It’s a city full of artistic energy and growing creativity, offering constant inspiration.
The summer months were especially exciting. I had the opportunity to be a leader for two youth exchanges: one held in Leipzig and the other one in Rimini, Italy. These experiences allowed me to gain real hands-on experience in the field of youth work, providing me with valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of organizing international projects.
The creative musical vibes of Leipzig also inspired me in musical terms and with a group of other aspiring musicians, we decided to develop a little musical project, where I am playing the guitar. On the list we also planned some little concerts to be realised.
In November, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our organization, a significant milestone for all of us. During this celebration, I had the chance to facilitate a workshop on sustainability, which was designed as an interactive escape game. Indeed, throughout my time here, I’ve focused on developing methodologies, particularly around sustainability and climate justice.
Looking back on my experience so far, I am truly amazed by everything I’ve had the opportunity to encounter and the diverse experiences I’ve gathered along the way. In terms of knowledge, I gathered a lot of new skills and got to try different methodologies, having the feeling to be grown up both in personal and professional way.
Corpo Europeo di Solidarietà – La testimonianza di Alessio
Ciao, sono Alessio Laterza e vorrei condividere la mia esperienza come volontario del Corpo Europeo di Solidarità qui a Lipsia, al Centro di Competenza per il Lavoro Giovanile Internazionale e dell’Educazione non-formale. Sono arrivato qui ad Aprile e posso sinceramente dire che il mio tempo qui finora è stato incredibilmente stimolante, educativo ed arricchente dal punto di vista personale.
La bellezza naturale della Germania in primavera è stupefacente ed il mio arrivo è coinciso esattamente con questa meravigliosa stagione. Vivere a Lipsia è stata complessivamente un’esperienza fantastica. È una città piena di energia artistica e creatività, che offre dunque una continua ispirazione.
I mesi estivi sono stati particolarmente entusiasmanti. Ho avuto l’opportunità di lavorare come team leader per due scambi giovanili europei: uno avvenuto a Lipsia e l’altro a Rimini in Italia. Queste esperienze mi hanno permesso di acquisire esperienza pratica nel campo del lavoro giovanile, fornendomi preziosi insegnamenti sulle sfide e sui successi nell’organizzare progetti giovanili internazionali.
L’ambiente artistico di Lipsia mi ha anche ispirato dal punto di vista musicale e, insieme ad un gruppo di altri aspiranti musicisti, abbiamo creato un piccolo progetto musicale, dove sono attivo come chitarrista. Tra i nostri piani c’erano (e ci saranno) anche dei piccoli concerti da realizzare.
A Novembre abbiamo celebrato il 10° anniversario della nostra organizzazione, un traguardo importante per tutti noi. Durante questa celebrazione, ho avuto l’opportunità di facilitare un workshop sulla sostenibilità ambientale, progettato come escape game interattivo. In effetti, durante la mia permanenza qui, mi sono concentrato sullo sviluppo di metodologie, in particolare per quanto riguarda i temi della sostenibilità e della giustizia climatica.
Guardando indietro alla mia esperienza finora, sono veramente soddisfatto da tutto ciò che ho avuto l’opportunità di incontrare. e dalle esperienze diverse che ho vissuto lungo il cammino. In termini di conoscenze, ho acquisito molte nuove competenze e ho avuto la possibilità di provare diverse metodologie, sentendomi cresciuto sia a livello personale che professionale.
